A wedding is one of the most important events in a person's life.

That is why you can only imagine the sense of loss and grief this woman had to go through when she had to cancel her wedding – and break up with her fiance altogether – when she discovered something horrifying on his computer.


Just months before her dream wedding to her supposed "soulmate", 25-year-old Maria unexpectedly discovered something that changed her life forever.

She shared the distressing story on TikTok, recounting how her world came crashing down after she stumbled upon a folder on her now-ex partner’s work computer.

Three months before the big day, Maria and her ex-partner had already sent the event invitations to their family, friends, and relatives.

At this point in time and in their relationship, Maria had no doubts that her dream wedding would continue and that she would be marrying the love of her life.

But everything changed on one random Thursday.


Maria asked the man to help her apply for a job since her computer wasn't working at the time. So he downloaded her resume onto his work computer.

When Maria came to look for it amongst his folder files, she came across a particular folder. Opening it, she was left speechless and horrified to find "porn" photos of her sisters, her partner's co-workers, and other individuals.

When she confronted him about it, he said he would just stare at the photos during work and picture them naked because he was simply "bored".

Maria also alleged that her ex-partner had been stalking her siblings on social media, given that she also found cropped photos from Instagram within the folder.


Needless to say, the hundreds and thousands of viewers who have seen her video on TikTok rallied behind her decision, supporting her and wishing her lots of healing and love.

"Not only you saved yourself, but you also saved them too," one woman wrote in the comments. "He could have done something if you kept quiet about it in hopes to save your relationship."

Another agreed, saying: "It's literally a gift from the universe that you found out now. Hope you heal soon sis and live a beautiful life."

"You dodged a bullet, my dear. It isn’t easy to heal but you saved yourself so much future pain and problems down the line," added a third.
