BREASTFEED EXAMINATION
A woman holding a baby was sitting in the medical examining room, waiting for the doctor.
When the doctor arrived he examined the baby and checked his weight. Finding it to be below average, he asked the woman if the baby was being breastfed or bottle-fed and how often each day.
"Breastfed," the woman replied, "every 3-4 hours during the day.''
"Well,'' said the doctor, ''please strip down to your waist".
She quickly obliged.
He pressed, kneaded, rolled, cupped, and pinched both breasts in a detailed, rigorously thorough examination.
Motioning for her to get dressed he said, "No wonder this baby is underweight, you don't have any milk!"
"I know," she said, "I'm his grandmother, but I'm glad I came."
