Book recommendations that made me self-reflect
I used to be an avid reader back when I was younger and even had silly goals of reading up to 50 books a year (I was never able to accomplish that goal to this day lol). I have to say, one of my favourite things about reading books is encountering those types of stories that will stop you in your tracks and make you reflect on life. I know it sounds a little dramatic but really - I think it's nice to take a moment to reflect on things every now and then
If you're down for stories like that, then you have to read these:
I found these two books hidden somewhere on my aunt's cluttered bookshelf while I was staying with her in New York. She was planning to move somewhere else and throw away her books but I snatched these two away from her - and I'm glad I did!
I finished Tuesdays with Morrie the next day and moved on to read the other Mitch Albom book. I'm not exactly religious (totally respect those who are!) but I still enjoyed reading the five people you meet in heaven, which revolves heavily around the concept of an afterlife.
Anyway, that's it! I don't want to accidentally spoil anyone who decides these are worth a try. Hope you guys like it!
