Blazing Row
A block of flats in South Melbourne has been burnt to the ground, with many fatalities.
A family of six alleged Albanian benefit cheats all perished on the ground floor. Four young Pakistani men who lived on the first floor also died. The four were believed to have been under surveillance by the security services on suspicion of being Islamic Jihadists plotting a terror attack. On the third and fourth floors, the remains of ten African, six Chinese, three Iraqi, and four Afghan asylum seekers were also found.
The only known survivors of the blaze were one, an Australian born, white couple who lived on the top floor.
Fire Rescue Victoria has been faced with a barrage of accusations by various ethnic minority pressure groups, left wing local councilors, and miscellaneous do-gooder organisations that they showed racial bias in prioritising their rescue operations.
The protestors have so far been totally unswayed by the Chief Fire Officer’s explanation that, at the time of the midday fire,
the couple were both at work!
