Who remembers slide nights?
Before the miracle of digital photos and back in the day photos either came in a hard copy (prints) or in a format where they could be put into a projector and displayed on a screen or on the wall (slides). Families regularly had slide nights, get-togethers where people would show slides of their kids, their latest trip etc. Someone might put on a bbq and then afterwards everyone would retire to the lounge room with the curtains drawn to look at slides. Slide nights and slide film were big in the 50’s and 60’s and maybe even up to the 70s.
Remember slide nights? What are some of your memories?
