Kmart shopper Celine Flint showcased her latest sleepwear purchases on social media, and it didn’t take long before the compliments came pouring in.
Her haul included a range of winter-ready essentials: red and white striped varsity-style pants, a long-sleeved red deer top, flannel checked pants, a grey pyjama tee, a leopard print top, a teddy bear matching set, and fluffy home socks.
All of it was snapped up from Kmart—and none of it cost more than $30.
‘I think they have received the most compliments because of the stripes/varsity/rugby-like style, which is currently trending,’ Celine shared. ‘I’m loving that stripes are having their moment.’
As temperatures dipped lower, shoppers were increasingly drawn to affordable comfort, and Celine’s post clearly hit the mark. One look at the striped varsity pants, and it was easy to see why people were hooked. The rugby-inspired design was not only on trend, but also proved that winter loungewear didn’t need to be boring.
While the striped pants made the biggest splash, Celine’s entire collection offered a solid snapshot of Kmart’s sleepwear range—cosy, cute, and all under $30. That price point, she said, was one of the biggest drawcards.
‘The price speaks for itself, and having so many options of PJs at an affordable price means no one has to miss out on enjoying cute and warm winter PJs sets,’ she said.
Among her favourites? The flannel PJs.
‘The flannel PJs are my faves, though, because it’s that time of year,’ she explained. ‘I get cold easily, so flannels are the way to go for me, and these ones are great for only $12.00.’
With cost-of-living pressures continuing to bite, shoppers were looking for ways to stay warm without overspending—and Kmart’s winter sleepwear range appeared to strike just the right balance. For Celine, it was nothing new.
‘I have bought many Kmart PJs over the last few years, and I just love the price point of them, and love how many cute designs they’re always coming out with,’ she said.
But it wasn’t just about affordability. The comfort factor was high on her list too, with Celine admitting she didn’t limit her PJs to bedtime only.
‘I got a few different material types of PJs. Not only did I get them for bed, but also to just lounge in at home too,’ she shared. ‘There’s no right or wrong when it comes to wearing PJs.’

And with the Kmart sleepwear range covering everything from flannel and satin to waffle and woven fabrics, shoppers could easily mix and match sets or individual pieces. The sizing also catered to a wide audience, ranging from sizes 6–22.
‘You can get fitted PJs by sticking to your regular size, or you can size up…1, 2 or 3 sizes for a relaxed fit. It’s all about comfort in going to bed.’

‘I find the flannel PJs perfect for this weather,’ she said. ‘Coming into the summer, I prefer the cotton, bamboo or silk material type of PJs. Just depends on the time of the year. But thankfully, Kmart are all over it and has what I want/need when going into the store, depending on the type of season it is.’
