BIG W stuns shoppers with designer products worth $795!

When we think of BIG W, images of affordable clothing, household essentials, and budget-friendly toys come to mind. It's the go-to place for many looking for good deals without breaking the bank.

But recently, the popular Australian department store has left its customers gobsmacked.

In a surprising twist, BIG W has been found to be selling items from a major designer brand on their website, and the prices are causing quite a stir!

Eagle-eyed shoppers couldn't believe their eyes when they stumbled upon a small selection of Gucci products available for purchase on BIG W's website.

The range included six perfumes, but it was the leather wallets that caught everyone's attention.

With a Gucci Women’s Interlocking GG Leather Small Wallet listed at $795 and a Gucci Women’s Bifold Interlocking GG Leather Long Wallet for a whopping $949, it's no wonder that these luxury items quickly sold out.

The discovery has excited bargain hunters and luxury lovers alike, especially on social media, where members have been buzzing about the find.

Some questioned whether the listings were part of an elaborate April Fools' joke, while others were astounded by the high price tags attached to the Gucci brand.

'Great price! Costco occasionally sells designer things too,' commented one user.

Another user expressed their shock more succinctly: '$940? Just because it’s Gucci? Wow.'

But Gucci isn't the only luxury label to grace the virtual shelves of BIG W’s Market.

Shoppers can find Chanel No 5 perfume priced at $499, along with select products from Yves Saint Laurent and Dolce & Gabbana.

For designer bags, BIG W has the Michael Kors Women's Jet Set Large Saffiano Leather Crossbody Bag for $379.

Other big-name brands, like New Balance, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, and Hoka, can be seen on BIG W’s website.

Sorry but I would never pay that sort of price for a wallet, I don't care what name it has on it.
"Brand"names are such a con.
Yes they are better quality but nothing justifies such ridiculous prices.
You're just paying for the "snob"
value. Some people have more money than sense.

The Asians stop at nothing.... they will spend $5,000 on a small back.
I have been to these brand name shops and it makes your eyes water at the retail prices but the Asians are there to buy as though they were in a $1 store and walk out having spent $20-30,000.
SWANK......

The big brand must be 'feeling the pinch' or the product is not genuine or they are finding an outlet for the dregs of discontinued items.

The cost of living crisis obviously doesn’t affect Big W customers then ?
Impulse buying..... when they see the price go from $5,000 to $750 they think it is a 'must have'.... can't pass up the opportunity...... they come to the end of the month and find that they can't afford to pay off the card and end up paying 20% or more on interest charges......
