Bath cubes

These were a favourite present back in the days before showers became the popular way of washing ourselves. I remember the days when only posh people had shower facilities in their homes. Now very few people use a bath tub. You can still buy bath cubes today, they are usually only around in Christmas gift packs. Bath bombs are the younger generations go to if they decide to have a bath. My grandkids always enjoy a bath when they visit, so I always have bath bombs, bath cubes or bath salts at my house. Some newer houses don’t even have a bath tub in them these days.

Not to be confused with ............ Bath salts (also called psychoactive bath salts, PABS and, in the United Kingdom, monkey dust) are a group of recreational designer drugs. The name derives from instances in which the drugs were disguised as bath salts. The white powder, granules, or crystals often resemble Epsom salts, but differ chemically.

Yes, I recall receiving these from school friends in primary school. Bath bombs popular these days. I often use bath salts for tired feet and legs for a good soak in bathtub. Great stuff!
