Bat wing scales
Do you remember walking into the chemist and spotting the classic Avery scales? Often called ‘bat wing’ scales, they were a familiar sight especially in the 1970s and 1980s. Many Aussies would pop in weekly to check their weight, turning it into a bit of a ritual!
