We've all been on a plane before, and most of us can attest to the fact that flying can sometimes be quite a tedious and uncomfortable experience.
Long lines at security, crying babies, and being crammed into a seat that's too small for your body – it's not always an ideal way to travel.
But every now and then, something happens during a flight that makes the whole experience worth it. And luckily for passengers on this particular Southwest Airlines flight, they got to witness such an event.
We're sure that all of our lovely members have, at one point or another in their lives, been lucky enough to experience the joy and romance of a wedding. But what you might not know is that weddings can actually happen anywhere and at any time – even in an aeroplane!

In a video of the moment, which has since gone viral on social media, we see a couple standing at the front of the plane with a flight attendant officiating their marriage using the onboard communication system.
'So now by the power vested in me by Alexander County in the great state of Colorado... it is my profound honour and joy to now pronounce you husband and wife,' announced the flight-slash-wedding attendant.
As he spoke into the intercom, declaring them husband and wife, fellow passengers broke out into applause and cheers.
The newlyweds then shared their first kiss as a married couple as everyone around them celebrated their love!
The video was filmed by another passenger on board – evidently, someone who was just as touched by the moment as we are – with Southwest Airlines being tagged when it was shared online.
The clip has been viewed over 422,000 times at this point and based on the comments left by thousands of viewers, it seems that this isn't just another run-of-the-mill love story—these two have been together for quite some time!
A friend of the couple commented on the video and revealed that the two of them were married over the weekend; however, the flight attendant wanted to 're-marry' them before their honeymoon in Mexico.
'Can confirm, I went to their actual wedding this past weekend,' another user commented.
'I am obsessed. This is amazing,' a second person said, while another went on to add, 'Omg! I'm so happy for them but even happier at the crowd's reaction.'
Even if it was just a lighthearted ceremony on their end, we're willing to bet that it brightened up the otherwise dreary flight for everyone else. Now that's what we call true love!
