Avon Valley greeting. ​

Hi - I'm a retired teacher who has become a farmer in retirement. We live in the beautiful Avon Valley, in Western Australia, beteeen Northam and York. Paradise!! But extremely dry now. Bit of a storm passing by, with lots of thunder & lightning, but in temperatures around 40, it can cause us big problems with fly-strike. They say farmers are never happy, but you have to be able to see the big picture!
The lightning strike causes bushfires too....

Welcome @Lesley-Ann to SDC. I'm down in Perth and the clouds look impressive from here. My sister lives in Clackline, so know your patch quite well. Bet she's dry as a bone up there currently.
