Authorities arrest passenger after catching him in the act! What did he do?

Air travel is seen as a time to sit back, relax, and catch up on some reading or sleep.

However, for passengers on a recent SWISS Air flight, their journey was anything but ordinary.

The incident unfolded aboard a SWISS Air Flight LX918 from Zurich to Dresden.

The short, 73-minute trip took a bizarre turn halfway through the flight.

In a shocking breach of public decency, authorities arrested a 33-year-old German national after he was caught in an 'unusual' sex act.

This man's act left many travellers and crew members in disbelief.

According to reports, a female passenger noticed the man with his hands in his pants and promptly alerted the cabin crew.

The situation escalated as the distressed passenger asked if she could move seats.

Meanwhile, the flight crew had to issue multiple warnings to the man before he stopped his inappropriate actions.

Upon landing, the man was taken into custody by the Dresden Federal Police.

The man confessed to 'being active' in front of two female passengers.

However, he defended himself by claiming he was unaware of any wrongdoing as he did not expose his genitals.

Despite his plea, the man is now under investigation for causing a public nuisance.

The police confirmed the incident in a statement and described it as an 'unusual incident that exceeded the bounds of good behaviour'.

A spokesperson for SWISS Air also acknowledged the occurrence and stated that the passenger engaged in an intimate act during the flight.

This then prompted the crew to issue a warning.

This incident was not the first time SWISS Air had experienced this.

Months prior to this incident, the airline also became the centre of controversy when crew members leaked footage of a couple being intimate during a flight from Bangkok to Zurich.

The video, captured by cockpit-controlled security cameras, led to an investigation into privacy violations by the airline.

These incidents should be a stark reminder that while the skies may be friendly, they are not lawless.

It's important for passengers to remember that they are still in a shared space.

Always maintain decorum and respect for fellow passengers in public.
