Aussie woman unearths massive outback treasure during her adventures! See how much her find costs

In the vast and rugged expanse of the Australian outback, the red dirt stretches as far as the eye can see.

Amidst the wilderness, a young Aussie has struck gold—quite literally.

Gold prospector Tyler Mahoney made a massive discovery over the weekend that would make any treasure hunter's heart race.

The young gold miner found a massive gold nugget on the ground.

Living just 20 minutes from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, Tyler has been honing her prospecting skills since childhood.

Her family's involvement in the gold mining business gave her a front-row seat to the industry's highs and lows, and her latest find is undoubtedly a high point.

Mahoney’s latest 20-ounce gold nugget was worth $130,000.

'Look at that. That is a true representation of Aussie gold,' Mahoney said online.

'Massive, covered in red dirt and high purity.'

Gold prospecting is more than a hobby for Tyler Mahoney.

She's no stranger to the spotlight, as she starred in the reality TV series Gold Rush.

Mahoney would document her findings and work triumphs throughout the series.

Her impressive track record also included a $35,000 gold nugget she found last year with a metal detector.

She also had numerous smaller finds worth around $7,000—each nugget fitting in the palm of her hand.

The work of a gold prospector has been both demanding and rewarding.

Tyler spends her days operating excavators, sifting through dirt with heavy-duty machinery, and conducting meticulous research on geology and topography.

It's a profession that requires patience, resilience, and a keen eye for gold.

The gold mining industry saw several significant changes after the first Australian gold rush in the 1890s.

'It's changed in just about every aspect since then. Obviously, we've got a lot more technology now. It's also getting a lot harder to find,' Tyler recounted.

She also noted the positive shift towards gender inclusivity, with women becoming more accepted in gold prospecting—a once male-dominated field.

With these changes, however, Tyler believed that gold remains a solid investment.

With the current value of gold soaring over $5,000 an ounce, she advised lucky Aussies who have large nuggets of gold to 'hold on to them as long as possible'.

Tyler's incredible find was a testament to the enduring allure of gold.

It's also a reminder of the rich history and ongoing legacy of gold mining in Australia.

Tyler's story should be an example of what dedication and a bit of luck can bring.

The person should have NOT been named. Some "crooks" will resort to anything to get hold of that wealth. There has been murders, torturing, endless burglaries, harrassment etc.
Many years ago when lotteries first started in this state people near me won a lottery and their name was published. They were able to pay of their house mortgage and upgrade their car - not a new one. For months they had people begging for money. They sold their house and moved to escape the harrassment and threats

When someone suddenly wins a lottery or comes to inherit a fortune, it’s so amazing how all your “long lost” relatives & friends appear.
My mother won 2nd Division in Tattslotto many, many years ago…. in the 1980’s.

She had visitors & endless phone calls from family & friends she hadn’t seen for many decades.

The meetings & phone calls started off very friendly but after a while they changed.

To cut a long story short, they asked her for a “loan”.

My mother declined them all, & she never heard from them again.

STRANGE how money influences people.

As far as I know you take it to a legal professional to get it assesssed. I’m not sure who pays you for it. My brother in law is a prosector. But I don’t believe you have to report it if it’s on public land.

The 1st family to win the "Opera House" lottery in NSW cost them the murder of their young son.

The arsehole was caught by some very investigative scientific evidence performed by a famed NSW Scientific detective.

I'm specifically not mentioning names.
That was the Graeme Thorne case in 1960.

What a find and how possible to start doing this. There must be an awful amount of luck attached to finding a lovely big nugget though. I believe that gold detectors are much more sophisticated now and it wets my appetite to buy one and go and have a go.

Don’t you have to take out a lease to prospect?
