Hopping on the list of Kmart buys that have gained a massive cult following is an item that was cleared from the stores’ shelves almost instantaneously not too long ago.

The budget retailer caused a frenzy over its $20 Casual Knit Square Toe Mules when customers began raving about how ‘comfy’ the heels were online.

One influencer even featured the popular buy on a TikTok video, urging fellow shoppers that they ‘need to go buy a pair right now’ and predicting that the shoes would ‘quickly sell out’. Turns out, she was right as the item ran out of stock in the blink of an eye.

But now, several shoppers have spotted the mules once again in their local stores, with Kmart Australia officially confirming that the shoes have made a comeback.

‘Customers have been loving our casual knit square toe mule that is an incredible value, priced at $20,’ a spokesperson announced.

‘It’s the perfect addition to any outfit. The mule comes in a variety of colours including black, charcoal, and natural. The super-comfy slip-on can be styled up or down.’

TikTok user Olivia Burrows alerted shoppers that the buy was back in a recent ‘Kmart haul’ video. While putting together a black knit skirt, a red blouse, and the chunky heels, an eagle-eyed viewer quickly pointed out: ‘OMG, the mules are back!’

Another fashion guru @kmartfever vouched for the mules, saying: ‘I can’t get enough of these mules! They seriously make every outfit look better.’

Many more Kmart fans weren’t shy about expressing their love for the shoes, with some sharing that they had already purchased the item in multiple colours and were ‘obsessed’.

‘I just had to buy it in all of the colours!’ one user commented.

‘I already have two pairs! They are so good.’ chimed another.

‘I’ve got them and they’re amazing,’ a third wrote. ‘They don’t make that ‘cheap sound’ when you walk… They’re silent.’

I have 2 feet and a squillion shoes already so I think I will have to regretfully give this offer a miss. Actually it's not too heartbreaking as unfortunately after operations on my feet I can no longer wear heels, my feet are held together with metal rods and screws so bending them is out of the question.

I often wonder with alot of these reviews are they paid reviewer's.

I tried on a pair of these awhile back and they actually cut into the toe area.

I would not buy these .

If these shoes could cure my right little toe that the podiatrist scrubs away every 6 weeks I'd buy them for the comfort I long for. I am so limited with my shoes that I'd wear convict shoes & forget about fashion for just being able to walk like I used to instead of limping. I'm a "fashion recycled old bird" who likes to look not too stressful walking, but honestly, how could such a small corn cause so much trouble?
