Are you one of the 678,000 Aussies missing out on your share of $100 million? Find out now!

Do you know that hundreds of millions of dollars in unclaimed funds are waiting to be collected in Victoria alone?

If you sometimes wonder why all your hard-earned money keeps slipping away, it could be because all you have to do is claim it!

How so, you might ask? Well, it turns out that the State Revenue Office (SRO) in Victoria is currently holding more than $100 million in unclaimed funds for Victorians! Entitled Victorians are owed money from dividends, salaries, rent, bonds, and more—and quite a lot too.

The State Revenue Office (SRO) urges people to head online and double-check whether any of this precious unclaimed money is rightfully theirs.

The SRO has an array of funds greater than $20 that have not been claimed in 12 months or more–from share dividends to salaries and wages, to rent and bonds, to winnings from gambling and lotteries–and it's just waiting to be found.

The money may have gone unclaimed for a number of reasons–perhaps the person has moved address, changed their name, or simply forgotten the sum was ever due to them in the first place.

Take a look at the entitlements scattered across Victoria: 45,653 entitlements worth $13.6 million in Melbourne, 36,332 entitlements totalling $7.5 million in Stonnington, and 35,246 claims worth $7.1 million in Boroondara.

That's a lot of people who could be missing out on their rightful piece of the unclaimed funds’ pie–in fact, the largest single amount is $882,697 and belongs to a man last listed as living in Box Hill.

The second largest goes to an Ardeer woman, with $259,828 still waiting to be claimed.

State Treasurer Tim Pallas doesn't want to see this free money go to waste. ‘This is money that belongs to citizens, and we want it in their hands,’ he declared.

‘If the SRO is holding unclaimed money in your name, you’ll know within seconds, and the process for recovery is straightforward.’

If you live in Victoria, you can visit the SRO website to check if they are entitled to any unclaimed money.

To search the register, you must enter your name and the address you believe the unclaimed money would have had on file.
