April Recommends… ALDI’s Choceur Dark Caramel Sea Salt Chocolate
Just popping in with a silly little article after having some of the best chocolate of my life!
Bare with me members, this is not a sponsored post… I’ve simply had my eyes opened.
I used to exclusively eat Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. I’d branch into their many flavours but it always had to be Cadbury. Enter inflation, cost of living crisis, etc… It was time for a cheaper alternative.
Everyone raves about ALDI’s chocolate (they even won Canstar 2021 Most Satisfied Customers – Chocolate category) so why not give it a try?
‘A touch of sea salt?’ More like touching my heart! Image Credit: ALDI
I’m not pretending to be well-versed in ALDI chocolate. I am, however, well-acquainted with their Choceur Dark Caramel Sea Salt flavour.
It’s $2.99 for a 200-gram block, but unlike some chocolate brands, a piece or two is enough so you really get bang for your buck.
I have never enjoyed dark chocolate before but the sweetness of the caramel filling along with the slight sea salt addition works so well that even I’m hooked.
In their award-winning Choceur range they currently boast 20 different flavours so there’ll be something for everyone. I’ve also tried their Salted Pretzel flavour which is also dangerously more-ish (can you tell I’m a sweet and salty fan?). This one is difficult to find in stock though so count yourself lucky if you find it at your local store.
Alright, now I’ve kept you long enough. Head to ALDI to get your hands on this but please leave a block for me!
Any other flavours I should try?
