APPLE AND CHILLI JELLY
Just finished making this....it is the best with blue vein cheese
Recipe
2kg any type apples cut up and leave skin on and cores in...
Peel of 1 lemon...
4 teaspoons chilli flakes...
2 litres water....
Method
Put all ingredients in a large pot and boil till apple us soft and mushy, around half an hour....
Strain into muslin cloth and hang over the pot overnight...
Dont squeeze your mixture through the cloth as it nakes the jelky cloudy...
In the morning dispise of what is in the muslin cloth...add 1 and a half kgs white suge and juice of 1 lemon and 1 tsp of citric acid to the liquid and bring to a steady boil...
While it is heating deseed and finly chop 4 red cayne pepper chillies and ad it to th liquid
