Almond/Rice porridge

1/3 cup natural almonds
1/3 cup Brown basmati rice

Place in your blender and pulse til ground pretty finely.

Place into a saucepan with 2 cups water (or milk if you like a rich porridge). Heat to boiling stirring all the time as it will stick to the bottom.
You can add ginger slices, vanilla, coconut milk, whatever flavours you like.
Keep stirring until it thickens.

Serve with milk, blueberries, banana, a little maple syrup if you must.

That's a different take on organic brown rice flakes or puffs, that we buy from the Health food store, with the addition of almonds.
Is this recipe for more than one person?

This recipe looks simple enough to make quickly and have it as a warm dessert while it still is reasonable cool . Healthy as well with the add on’s of fruit . I think it is for 2 people as well. :) (y).
