On Monday, supermarket giant Aldi issued an urgent recall for a popular kid’s toy over a potential choking hazard.
In their Facebook post, the company reminded customers of the active recall of the Jack ‘N” Jill - Wooden Block Sets (Farm, Jungle & Ocean), sold at ALDI stores nationwide from 10th June 2020 to 9th of September 2020.

The official Facebook page for Aldi Australia republished the recall notice on Monday due to “the low number of returns”.
The choking hazard was related to the ‘small magnets’ that can be detached from the toys, putting small children at risk.
“Small magnets may detach from the blocks; they pose a risk of choking, suffocation or death for young children,” said the statement.
“If you have not already, customers should immediately stop use and return the product to your nearest ALDI store for a full refund.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
Consumers who have bought the set can return the product to any ALDI store for a full refund.
