If you’re an avid ALDI shopper, you know how easy it is to get swept up in their on-trend products. With a loyal following of customers, the supermarket giant is always on top of their game when it comes to budget buys.

This year, ALDI Australia unveiled the results for their 2023 People's Picks Awards!

This list celebrates the most popular products in their stores, revealed by a record-breaking 380,000 votes from ALDI customers.

Last month, the retailer urged their shoppers to place their votes for their favourite products across eight categories.

ALDI Shopping Expert Kylie Warnke said: 'We love that The People's Picks gives our customers the opportunity to have their say when it comes to their ALDI foodie favourites and household must-have.’

She added: ‘Great quality products at amazing prices are in abundance at ALDI, so it's always so exciting for us to see what products get the ultimate seal of approval from our customers each year.'

So, what are the top 8 products in ALDI this year?

For the BBQ Boss category, their Jindurra Station Porterhouse Steak 200g, which is priced at just $7, topped the list.

Ms Warnke stated: ‘This 200g Australian steak is incredible value and means you don’t have to compromise on good quality meats for your summer socialising.’

And it's clear ALDI fans love a bargain—the Good Health Heroes winner was the Yoguri Protein Yogurt, which is only $2.19 for 160 grams.

‘It’s the perfect morning snack that not only provides essential nutrients, but it tastes great too,’ Ms Warnke stated.

Meanwhile, in the Partner in Grime category, ALDI shoppers chose Di-San Laundry Soaker 1kg, which retails for $3.69.

‘This is the first time the Laundry Soaker has won a People’s Picks award, although other products from the popular Di San range have previously made the top spot,’ Ms Warnke revealed.

We love the potato gratins, they are delicious and are a treat and a change. Will give Di San a go that is a big saving. We have just bought the dish washing tablets tho haven't used them yet but heaps cheaper than finish so hopeful to get as good a result.

I have used the DiSan products for a while now. They do a great job and so cheap compared to other brands.
Don't know why they didn't have a pet food section , their mest trays are $1 cheaper than the opposition. I buy 10/shop so $10 saving straight up. Their dog rolls are over $2 cheaper and my dogs just love.Aldi Liver Treats.

Yes, they should have. My dog in woolies and Coles $1.60 for small tin. We are paying for reward points and online shopping. there is no reason that the other products couldn't be the same price in Woolies as Aldi. Companies are paying for shelf space in Woolies and Coles and that puts the prices up.

I just LOVE their pot yoghurt. It is called Lyttos Pot Set Greek style yoghurt. It is lovely and thick and we use it on everything where you would use cream. Lovely with jam on crumpets and we have every morning on our porridge with chopped bananas and blueberries with a dash of cinnamon. Also have started using te steel cut oats....yes, they are more expensive than the ordinary Oats but so good for you and from memory they are $7.20 at either Coles or Woolworths. I just soak a 1/4 cup overnight in water and next morning cook in my 1000 watt microwave for 5/6 minutes until it thickens up. I will not go back to the other oats and you feel full for hours. I use the other oats for making biscuits and such.

I made the mistake of buying the Beef 21 day aged Eye Fillet a couple of weeks ago. There were two pieces, one was OK but the other was full of sinews and virtually inedible. This was conveniently covered by the wrapper. Certainly not one of my favourites!

On three occasions I have noticed some of the meat looking "grey". Brought to the attention of staff and they quickly took it away. Just be careful when selecting your meat at Aldi
