I really love this post... it's like the sheeple are turning into people and not just calling out baaaad baaad baaad in the paddock of public opinion when such blatant arrogance insensitivity and disrespect is presented. So often people in positions of power, act like this.

Fun fact: the first part of the human body to develop is the arsehole, somehow evolution allows them to rise to controlling bodies of people, and at times decide what the hearts and minds of people are entitled too, while accepting no responsibility at all it seems for their own actions.

They should have got rid of him when the Covid started , he had given himself a tiny reduced pay check , while millions of people were suffering and lots of businesses went broke . His management was just a joke . How could anyone justify the amount he was earning.

His business didn’t go broke. Tax payers money that should have been used for health & housing kept him afloat.

It would not surprise me, that to him, his opting to receive a smaller paycheck, may have meant that the full-sized cheque, was folded in half and then put inside a smaller envelope, before being handed to him.

High altitude workers restricted by things looped and tied tight around their heads, (office worker syndrome) could be oxygen deprived.

Most certainly not all but it could explain a lot of corporate business-related decisions. The thing about high finance is that people lose their relevance to the overall view, when we are seen from corporate height to be like teeny tiny ants, in their nests, from up high.

The part that amuses (?) me most about QANTAS and its little Irish Leprechaun is that they've PAID him about $10 Million in bonuses for losing the company $2 Billion +.
In my working days you got paid a bonus for EARNING or SAVING the Company Money not for LOSING or COSTING it money!!! Perhaps If he'd LOST it $4 Billion + , they'd have given him $20 Million!
If that's the way things work in Australia, these days, maybe we should give the place to the Chinese to run!

A very Frank assessment as to how things are being run, I definitely agree. It's not just him though, it's a big business club mentality thing, and we aren't in it. It's difficult to relate to a nonsensical decision because I figure the vast majority of us, see things in rational easy to understand terms.
Whereas corporate heads (Absolutely not all of them, as there are great people in amongst them) consider things as our government (basically a collective of future corporate lobbyists) does. Financial accountability apparently means nothing, in the corporate game as there appears far more to consider, than the simple implementation of well thought out financially practical ideas and doing one's job for the benefit of all Australians, there's money to be made.
