After nearly 50 years of marriage…
An elderly couple was lying in bed one evening when the wife felt her husband start to gently massage her something he hadn’t done in a very long time.
His hands moved softly over her neck, shoulders, down her back, along her arms and legs. It was slow, warm, and surprisingly romantic. She thought, “Well, this is a lovely blast from the past!”
He continued for a few more moments, then suddenly stopped, rolled over, and went completely silent.
She turned to him, touched by the moment, and asked sweetly,
“That was beautiful… why did you stop?”
He replied,
“I found the remote.”
