active but lonely​

I am 84 ,very fit ,love gleaning the internet,being rude to the CCP ,etc I live in Cairns ,although comfortable ,I am a minimalist I love literature ,classical music ,walking I miss the conversational friends I had in Brisbane and 10 years in Cairns hasnt contrubuted at all ...I enjoy the Botanic gardens ,the beaches and 2 blocks back living in Cairns is like living in a country town.
If you can delve into US politics, Brexit , weaknesses of the human way of thinking lets all connect or if you are in Cairns go for a coffee

Welcome Gerry, we get all sorts of discussion going on here, but for someone like me, a bit older, I leave other countries politics to them, I have enough trouble keeping up with our own miscreants! I'm with the have fun while we may mob.. er Cairns is a bit far from Melbourne for a coffee.. lol
