A 5-year-old boy’s $1200 surprise leaves his father speechless
Receiving surprise gifts from kids might be a heartwarming experience for most parents, but for one dad, his son's surprise came with a hefty price tag.

A Sydney father was left speechless after he received a message from UberEats stating that his $1200 order of Gelato Messina ice cream had been delivered to the front door of his workplace.

Apparently, the Sydney firefighter had no idea about the order until it was revealed later on that his five-year-old son — who was supposedly playing Tetris on his phone — made the pricey purchase.

Gelato Messina shared the hilarious story on their Instagram account, detailing how the dad — who was on leave that day — had to drive to the Newtown fire station where he works to pick up the expensive treats.

The massive order included an entire shopping bag filled with jars of dulce de leche, seven cakes, candles and five bottles of Messina Jersey Milk.

It was reported that the dad left some of the items for his colleagues.

And although it is unknown whether the five-year-old boy faced any punishment, it is safe to say that his father most likely has changed his phone password.

For our ladies and gents out there who are taking care of their grandchildren, this is a friendly reminder to keep an eye out for your grandkids especially when they’re using your phones.

Yikes. So as much as a lot of people advise that kids shouldn't have their own devices, it would help avoid these types of situations
