Ingredients:

1. 325g of dried spaghetti
2. 500g of pork sausages
3. A tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
4. 300ml of light-thickened cream
5. Three-fourths a cup of finely grated parmesan
6. 180g of baby spinach

To get started, cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water and follow the packet directions. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside, reserving 1/3 cup of the liquid.

Then, squeeze the sausage mince from the casings and roll the mixture into balls. Heat some extra virgin olive oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the meatballs in batches. Make sure to turn them for 5 to 6 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.

Next, add the light-thickened cream and reserved cooking liquid and bring them to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Now add half a cup of the parmesan and stir until the sauce is smooth and combined. Add the cooked pasta followed by the spinach and cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until the spinach wilts and the pasta is fully coated in the sauce.

And finally, your 5-ingredient meatball carbonara is ready to serve! Top it all off with the remaining parmesan if you want to make the dish extra special.
