Craving something quick and easy for dinner tonight? Even though this recipe only requires less than 20 minutes of your time to prepare, we can promise that it’ll be good enough to satisfy your tastebuds and impress your guests. Featuring a classic broccoli and chicken combination, you can’t go wrong with this healthy and relatively inexpensive dish to enjoy any night of the week.
Here are the ingredients you need:
1. 350 grams of broccoli that are cut into small florets
2. 300 grams of dried curly fettuccine pasta
3. Half a barbecued chicken fillet, meat coarsely shredded
4. 80 grams of Boursin Garlic & Herbs cheese
5. 125 grams of sun-dried tomatoes, coarsely chopped
Start by bringing a large saucepan of water to a boil. Then, add the broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes or until they are tender. Transfer the perfectly cooked broccoli to a bowl before adding the pasta to the boiling water. Cook according to the packet directions or until al dente.
Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, broccoli, cheese and tomato. Use a ladle to transfer a cup of pasta cooking water to the chicken mixture before stirring thoroughly or until the cheese melts. Continue to cook the sauce, tossing, for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
Drain the pasta and add to the broccoli mixture. Ensure that the pasta is coated evenly. Season with salt and pepper and you’re good to go! Pretty easy, eh?
