1 tsp olive oil

1 medium onion, finely chopped

680g green peas (fresh or frozen)

Water to cover the peas

1. Begin by heating the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

2. Add the onion, cover, and cook until translucent — about 5 minutes.

3. Add the peas and pour enough water to cover them.

4. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.

5. Once the peas are cooked through, you can blend everything in the pan using a stick blender or stir continuously until you hit the desired texture.

6. Give it a taste and season with salt and pepper, if needed.
