‘Very simple’ Stress-Free Air fried Christmas ham from Aldi

Christmas is the time for celebration: a time for finding the perfect gifts, for finishing work, for bonding with family and friends, and (especially) for looking good in a Christmas outfit!

A big part of looking good is feeling good, and that’s why it makes perfect sense not to get too stressed out with meal prep this holiday season.

Luckily for us, there are people out there who are willing to share their simple and hassle-free recipes! The best part is you can make this one using only an air fryer!

TikTok user Emily Webster loves to share her best supermarket finds on her page with 16,900 followers. One example is the Christmas ham she found at Aldi.

To start, Emily prepared her 2.1 kg pre-cooked ham from Aldi. Then she coated it in brown sugar and proceeded to cook it in the air fryer for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Around 5 or 10 minutes before it finished, she glazed it with half a cup of honey and half a cup of butter.

Then, voila! Emily’s Christmas ham is done. “It's perfect for a small Christmas dinner party,” said Emily.

“Use the leftover glaze as a sauce,” she suggested.

“Yummm!” one person commented.

Another follower was keen to try it out but couldn’t find the specific ham Emily used.

“I tried to find this today but could only find the little maple flavoured one in the box,” wrote the follower.

Emily replied: “Actually, when I went, this one was the last one they had, so they must be popular.”

The TikTok user also suggested other Aldi Christmas buys, such as the maple pancetta prawns and the hazelnut or marzipan pralines.

“These would make great gifts or stocking stuffers!” said Emily.

This ham looks so delicious, and the recipe is so simple too! We honestly can’t wait to try it during the holidays.

Let’s just hope she will also recommend some post-Christmas weight-loss food. We’re waiting, Emily!
