The Stanhope Gardens store has been a staple in the community for many years, and its closure has left many locals reeling.

A few months ago, Kmart also decided to close its Port Adelaide store, with many voicing their disapproval as the store was always bustling with contented shoppers, and the staff were only given short notice of its closure.
In the wake of the announcement, the store has begun slashing prices on its stock, leading to a flash sale that has attracted bargain hunters.
One shopper, known as @sydneyhillsmummyblogger on social media, revealed that she had managed to pick up a huge stash of beauty, clothing, Pokemon and Minecraft (an online video game) products as a result of the sale.
