To prepare the custard, the mum-of-one pours in a cup of vanilla yoghurt, one cracked egg, and three tablespoons of natural maple syrup into a bowl before whisking them until the mixture is smooth.
Next, Katie presses the middle of a few slices of brown bread using a spoon.
The pressed part of the slices of brown bread will serve as the "well" for the custard.
The mum then fills the pressed part of the bread slices with custard before topping them with sliced berries.

She carefully places each slice in a preheated air fryer and cooks them for 10 minutes at 190 C.
Katie advises baking the slices in an oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 200 C if you don't have an air fryer, noting that you should place the slices on a tray lined with baking paper.
After 10 minutes, the mum removes the toast from the air fryer before sprinkling them with sugar powder and drizzling them with a bit of the natural maple syrup.
Finally, she serves the toast with some extra fruit.
"Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warmed and toasty," she writes at the end of her post.
The post captured the attention of Instagram users, with many expressing their excitement to try the recipe themselves.
One person wrote: "Yuuuummm! This looks epic."
"Looks fantastic great idea for breakfast," another added.
One user asked what other alternatives they can use if they don't have any berries at their disposal.
Katie quickly replied, suggesting that the following toppings can be used in place of berries:
- Sliced peaches
- Blackberries
- Raspberries
- Choc chips
- Sprinkles
- Nectarines
- Grated white chocolate
- Hundreds of thousands
