Is your car too loud? New 'noise cameras' might catch you in the act!

Not a money grab but a way of stopping these morons from destroying the neighbourhood peace and quiet. It is definitely not a new rule. It was certainly around, and policed, in the 1950/60s. I was one who paid the penalty.

Is your car too loud? New 'noise cameras' might catch you in the act!

This is not a new rule. Being fined for operating as noisy vehicle in the 1950/60s was quite a regular occurrence. I copped a hefty fine in 1958 for a noisy motor bike. The fine was in excess of my average weekly pay. The noisy exhaust rule has always been there, just hasn't been policed.

‘Absolutely and utterly ridiculous’: Pensioner fights for home on own land after Shire's move

The regulation states that no vehicles on wheels permitted. Wonder if that would still apply if the wheels were removed and the bus placed on blocks.

Biscuit bug-out: Coles ingredient leaves mum crumbling in disgust!

Cochineal has been around for as long as I can remember and I am 83. Hasn't harmed me. Is it not better to consume this product than numerous other products that have been proven to be detrimental to our health.
