It must be a Queensland thing, because it doesn't seem to happen here in South Aussie. We're a bit more layed back here I think. I've been driving 50 years, and have never experienced very many impatient drivers.

Hermannsburg mission and Finke River mission are the closest missions to Alice Springs. When I lived in Alice, the people from the missions would come into town every second Wednesday, to Piggly Wiggly supermarket, on the Gap Road, and buy up trolley loads of booze.

I know you're telling me we're talking about Alice Springs, without actually telling me talking about Alice Springs! I lived there 1986-87, and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as now! I loved it back then, but I have no desire to return now....ever!
