Aldi "tricks" you .... they have some things in "packets" with a dollar price.... sometimes there's 400gms NOT half a kilo so you think it is cheaper - when you do the MATH - dollar value divided by 4, then timed by 5 it works out it's THE SAME price as 500gms worth at Woolies or Coles - say...

Well, Aldi near where I am (Hunter Valley) don't have the convenience of Self-Service. I MUCH PREFER self-service - I can Pack My Groceries "how I WANT to" - no over-loading my bags, so I can still lift them. No putting them in "ANY OLD HOW" - but nice and neatly, like I want them.... heavy...

Before "the change" - both KMart at Waratah and KMart at Greenhills - had a "way out" WITHOUT going through the checkout - so I don't know where there WASN'T and alternative way out for "non-buying customers" - because I haven't experienced it. And ..... I refuse to prove I'm "not a shop lifter"...

I (well I must say "we") ARE GRATEFUL and HAPPY for what we receive. At least we ARE NOT at the other end of the spectrum, like our 3 married daughters (with 12 grandchildren between them) ..... WHO have MORTGAGES that have interest rates SOARING every week or so ( or so it seems) We worked...
