Police uncover euthanasia drug ring tied to 20 shocking deaths

We treat animals with poor quality of life better. If I were in that position... one first class air fare to the Netherlands and drop off the perch with dignity. All this BS about " you must have less than 12 moths to live" is a joke. It's MY life.. stay out of it! Just saying...

Lawyers urge Australians to ensure valid will in place as house prices rise

These Public Trustee people are evil! I watched in horror as a person in a nursing home had most of her funds drained away by these parasites. Once they get their hands on your money, it is almost impossible to be rid of them. They seem to be accountable to no one

How a $22,000 fine is giving Australia’s rarest fish a fighting chance

Running out of land? Has anyone really looked at a map of Australia? I can think of a number of places where a HUGE landfill could be placed. It would have enough space for the country's landfill needs for 10s of thousands of years

Fined $237,000 for hiring someone to remove a century-old tree—fair punishment or too harsh?

I had a HUGE plain tree in my backyard that was causing all kinds of mess with dropped leaves fouling everything , including neighbours' pools. Council refused me permission to have it removed, because some residents in the next block maintained is was an enhancement to the neighbourhood. I got...

Energy giant ENGIE admits misleading customer about power prices after 'deceptive and misleading' behaviour

I put all the blame on Govt. None of this would be happening if it were not for the stupid, useless, idiotic, headless rush to renewables that this blind Govt is herding Australia towards. It is destroying Australia, and will not make one iota of difference to the climate.

When social media meets sacred sites: what Uluru's photography rules mean for modern travellers

Indigenous owners believe that photographing these sacred places can cause the photographer to become sick. This isn't superstition—it's a spiritual belief system that has governed this land for tens of thousands of years. How can photgraphing things be governed by 10s of thousands of years...

Soy sauce fish are gone—so why are we still stuck with messy plastic?

I agree with the plastic wastage problems that need addressing, however keep in mind that the invention of plastics, along with oil from the ground was what saved the whales.
