Famous chef's new children's book sparks outrage, pulled from shelves

If you have ever spoken to a true aboriginal elder, they will tell you that the stolen children was the best thing that happened to them. The reason being that the whites didn't want a half black child & the blacks didn't want a half white child with pale eyes & hair. These children were the...

Famous chef's new children's book sparks outrage, pulled from shelves

Totally 100% agree with you but they will never let it be enough because they get too much money to stop it

This $806 mistake could cost you next time you're at the beach—learn what NOT to do!

Just because she is adopted does not mean that she cannot have the freedom of being off lead in correct places. Some councils are very fair & have times when your dog can be off leash on the beach. It is up to the owner to have the control & knowledge of how their dog behaves in the company of...

This $806 mistake could cost you next time you're at the beach—learn what NOT to do!

Good idea. Lets start a book. Everyone could write one sentence. Wouldn't that be funny

This $806 mistake could cost you next time you're at the beach—learn what NOT to do!

I would refuse to pay the fine. Claim momentary insanity. I bet if you had a large dog they wouldn't have run up to you at all. I agree that dogs that are not able to be controlled, or those little yapping things that bark at anything that moves, should be on leads. Some dogs on leads shouldn't...

Funding rules shift as NDIS restructures support framework

Hi Vicki, I agree with you that there are many people out there who abuse the system & do not deserve it as much as others like yourself. However, I have known all my life that I was gradually getting older & knew that the day would come when I would struggle with stairs etc. That is why I...

Funding rules shift as NDIS restructures support framework

I honestly think that there are far too many people on disability. You were depressed 30 years ago & still on disability? And there are thousands like that out there taking advantage of the scheme. I think everyone should be reassessed yearly or every 2 years & not by the same people. Many...

Coles rolls out simple solution to resolve shopping frustration

I have previously made comment on this site re the use of the cardboard cartons for packing groceries instead of the bags. The cartons they are referring to are not very deep, so won't suit everything, but it is a great start.

Big issue with Coles and Woolworths that baffles millions of customers!

Why are the supermarkets not using the boxes that they unpack the stock from? They are free to the customer, it saves wastage from the supermarket & also time for one of the workers to crush them. There are a few shops throughout the country areas in Qld that use the boxes for peoples groceries...

Heartbreaking loss: Woman loses $50,000 after online boyfriend disappears

I can not believe that a person could be so naive as to send that much money to a person that they have never meet. They deserve to lose their money.

Aussie mum's shopping trip turns controversial after this man's comment

In this situation I would have tried to keep my calm, smiled said sorry I offended you. Then turned the table on him & said Oh by the way your fly is undone. Watch him stomp off red faced & spluttering quickly after than!;)

Ex-police officer falls victim to impersonation scam: Police advise what to watch out for!

I had a call from 'supposedly' the fraud branch of my bank telling me that a certain person had withdrawn money from my account & set up an ongoing direct debit payment. They wanted to know all my details, but I thought it was a bit fishy. I told them so & asked for their phone number & I will...

Pack your patience: Mum’s simple self-serve solution sparks checkout chatter

& it took you how many years to figure that out? I do it the majority of the time, have done for years, even at a serviced checkout. Mainly because I nearly always buy more than I went in for & secondly because I nearly always forget my shopping bags. I have about 5000 of them but still forget...
