I got my licence in a manual car and have driven predominantly manual vehicles although my last car was auto. Back in a manual now & loving it. I am definitely less concerned about this car being stolen.

I initially checked through Retirement Essentials who advised that I could apply 13 weeks prior. They are charging around $670 to apply on your behalf.

It certainly is a minefield. I applied for the age pension 6 weeks prior to my 67th birthday & was not permitted to apply until my birthday.
