Are Australia's banking services changing soon? Bank chief reveals monumental changes ahead

Just look what happened in Spain & Portugal. Complete blackout across the whole of the country. It would be foolish to get rid of cash altogether. And if so get rid of fees on transactions. A complete rip off. I still use both. Always have cash in case of emergency.

Major event??? I'm starting to wonder where the leanings are of people who run this site. This story is not interesting for us seniors. We'll not for this senior anyway!

Proposed Medicare reforms spark discussions online. Can these proposals help Aussie seniors' healthcare concerns?

Just read some of the replies here. I think you are outvoted by some well thought out replies. As for being left with a deficit. That was primarily due to covid & extra spending. This is the first deficit Labor has been left with in how many elections?? Usually it's Labor wasting money & leaving...

Proposed Medicare reforms spark discussions online. Can these proposals help Aussie seniors' healthcare concerns?

I am not happy with this site stirring up one sided political views! It's not what is needed here. Especially when it's old news! Just stick to what you are good at.

Woman uses expensive lipstick in shocking act, sparking uproar

It's payback to their underhanded methods they used during the last election. This is nothing compared to what they (the Teals) did last election! We saw it first hand in our old electorate of Nth Sydney. One was removing posters for the local liberal candidate. They (the Teals) were financed by...

This budget has me very concerned! Lots of big spending which is so typical of Labor trying to buy votes. I feel for our kids as they will be paying our debt off for many years to come.

Fact of the Day: French children attending school were served wine with their lunch

Yes really! My son went to stay in Germany on an exchange program in the 90s. He was 17 & turned 18 after he arrived. There were 2 boys in the family he stayed with & they were never banned from drinking. He said they had a totally different attitude towards drinking. And they couldn't believe...

Fact of the Day: French children attending school were served wine with their lunch

And I bet the French never had issues of teens going crazy with their friends & wiping themselves out like our Aussie kids do! They didn't see it as a banned substance. It was just an normal part of life.
