Robodebt: the government's deadly secret, and a mother's story of loss and hope

This is exactly what happened to me. I received a phone call from Centrelink saying I owed them $5,500 and had to pay it back immediately. Of course this was a huge shock to me. They knew exactly how much I earned, and yet they had been paying me too much for the past three years. I replied that...

That Poster should definitely be prosecuted and jailed. I hope his car is stolen whether it’s a Kia or not!

Earth's shortest day ever could have 'devastating' effects – what does it mean for us?

At the turn of the century we were told, all computers would come to a standstill 🙄. Before that there was a hole in the ozone layer and we were going to be burnt alive! Another was that the Barrier Reef was dying because the crown of thorn starfish was eating it away 🤪. Then it was global...

Woman’s “NASTY” aeroplane act sparks heated debate on social media — "Worrying lack of consideration for others"

What’s happened to good manners and behaviour. Putting your feet up on furniture that doesn’t belong to you is rude and bad mannered. Your shoes are not clean and others have to sit on that furniture. Bad mannered, thoughtless and selfish. Something you see a lot of these days!

Australian couple’s date night gets scrutinised by Americans, Aussies quickly defend the couple — "As an Aussie, I say that it's 100 per cent normal"

I agree! I think it’s disgusting not to wear shoes. I’ve seen parents with shoes on and their kids running around in shopping centres with no shoes. The streets and floors are so dirty with bacteria. It’s totally unhygienic to not wear shoes outside your home.

Aussie mum slams Aldi after slipping over littered grapes, resulting in SERIOUS injuries – “This is NOT okay.”

That happened to me in Woolworths. Slipped on grapes. The manager was very apologetic, asked if I was ok and would I be able to get home. I was injured slightly but didn’t want to make a fuss. Obviously a shopper had dropped some grapes and the store had not yet been informed. There was no...
