    Wash house My family as it was then, Dad, Mum and me, moved into a new house in1939. There was an electric copper, the double concrete tubs and a wringer. It was many years later that Mum got a washing machine, they were only for wealthy people in those days.

    WOOLIES PRICE HIKE Woolies are advertising Coke Cola 30 packs at two for $58.60. This amounts to over $2.60/liter the normal special price is $2.44/liter. They do not show the price per liter any more just $29.30/case. By advertising 2 cases they dodge the price/liter sign. IT IS DODGY.
