Find out how this Aussie dad managed to save over $1,000 on his baffling Origin Energy Bill

If your request for a key is questioned tell them that the outsourced meter reader does not have a key (mine does not), aside from the fact you are legally entitled to one. That's their built-in excuse for quoting an estimate. If they can't access the meter it is easier to estimate. They are...

Find out how this Aussie dad managed to save over $1,000 on his baffling Origin Energy Bill

Smart meters are not failsafe. Nor are they safe to be near for the EMFs they emit. You should have access to your meter. Request a key from distributor or landlord. Also, sleep as far away from your meter as possible.

Find out how this Aussie dad managed to save over $1,000 on his baffling Origin Energy Bill

This is a scam that energy companies don't back down from if they can help it. Register a complaint with the Australian Energy Regulator, with cc's to your distributor and favorite legal office. https://www.aer.gov.au/consumers/making-a-complaint

The Shocking Detail That Got This Woman Evicted From Her Home After 49 Years–Could It Happen to You?

Shameful. She should stay in her home with her memories. It isn't too late to make the changes. Allow this woman to remain in her home.

How one grandma took matters into her own hands to tackle antisocial behaviour in her community after her reports were ‘ignored’ by authorities

Community mindedness and awareness is so important. Corporatist councils and members seem to have little to no understanding of this, they are too busy protecting their cubicles of perceived power. Ego stands in the way of service. This must change. Starting with the LGA.

Beware! New Virus Targeting Android Devices Puts Millions at Risk - Here’s What You Need To Know

Also, just because it is offered by Google Play Store does not mean it is harmless. That should be addressed by Google. They should not offer apps unless they are safe to use. But don't hold your breath.

Who Remembers Reading the Dick ,Jane and Sally Books in School

Glad to have been raised in a book loving family. Although my aunt gave me a book for Christmas one year, I was in kindergarten. Title of book? "Misery", By Suzanne Heller. I still have it. "Misery is when there are four kids on the playground and only three swings." Perhaps it was meant as...

Kmart's $15 travel solution has people talking — what’s the fuss about?

Sorry but I will play word police today. Until the plandemic I have never heard of a retail product colour or size difference being referred to as a 'variant' . Another insidious way for us to be groomed to accept future versions of the next lab experiment? The other word on my warning books...

Shopper finds hilarious cheeky message at Woolworths self-serve checkout

AI is a misnomer as there is little if any intelligence associated with such programming. Woolies own chat bot 'assistant' (aka pain in the a*ss), happy to run you into dead end circles, needs to be deleted and replaced with a human being. AI should be renamed to Artificial Ineptitude.

Earn savings with this Woolworths Everyday Rewards trick - but is it worth it?

I received delivery from Woolies y'day and was shorted 3 items and was sent an email informing me I would be reimbursed for 2 items. I rang and couldn't get past the chat bot's sheer programmed idiocy. And a water box was in shreds as if it was used as a football. How is that acceptable. Never...

Westpac SLAMMED for closing branches across regional Australia

Why is the Fed govt not putting a stop to these bank closures. Surely there is a happy median in this. If you leave it to the banksters they'll choose profit over service every time. Especially if they are foreign owned banks.

Karl Stefanovic launches scathing attack on 'greedy' banks after latest interest rate hike

It is a requirement of a 1959 banking Act that the RBA consults directly with the Federal Goverment. So when fiscal policies adversely impact families and communities, our elected officials must stand to account for their actions as well instead of inferring the RBA is an entity unto it's own...

This 'KFC' meal has the internet buzzing - here's why!

Use to be a fan of KFC until the food chain started to become toxic. Chicken fried in gmo canola oil may taste great but the health consequences of consuming are hardly worth it. Potatoes exposed to glyphosate and other herbicides. Commercial chickens are raised on a diet of genetically...
