The alarming rise in elder abuse: Are vulnerable Aussies under attack in their own homes?

I hope they took the house off that real estate agent as well and sold it for the correct price and gave the money back to the rightful owner. There are some disgusting, venal people around preying on the vulnerable. It needs to stop and there needs to be harsher penalties to ensure that is...

Blue Heelers actor faces execution after years held in secret: 'The man never not called or wrote to me'

What I object to and one of the reasons I will never go to Bali is they execute our citizens and yet we still give them millions of tax payers money. I find that very wrong. I know they broke the law but if I was the government I would have said execute them and that's the end of the money from...

The four golden rules of money everyone should know

I absolutely agree that finance, budgeting and saving should be mandatory in the school syllabus. How else are kids today ever going to know how to make their money work for them and thrive into the future. They can't all rely on their parents, that's abundantly clear so school would be the...

When live TV goes wrong: News hosts caught chatting about holidays while on air

Here in WA seniors get free travel on weekends and I believe it's between 9.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays. School children now get free travel, not sure if it is just for school or all the time. We are lucky and makes a significant difference.

Trolley chaos divides shoppers as invisible tech barrier traps carts between rival stores

Same in WA, I am often wheeling trolleys back from the park near Coles at Southern River and often see the ute driving around the area picking up trolleys. People have pushed them into the lakes as well so it had to happen. We have some idiots that make life tougher and more expensive for us all.

Empty prison beds while crime soars: The proposal that's got Victorians fuming

Gosh that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read and you have to wonder about the idiots running the justice system in Victoria. A dreadful thing to say but when the crimes impact the people giving out this so called punishment, perhaps we might see some actual change and the punishment...

Alot of people still think they are great drivers when they have not been for many years but will not be 'told'. I think it is great to know your limitations. I hope I do as I would hate to be a menace on the road.
