Remember when reclining your plane seat was free? Not anymore

Most airlines are already making huge profits and its still not enough so can definitely see them jumping on this. I can see it's a great idea to stay home more and more. Greed has no boundaries.

THIS is what happens when airport patience snaps—and computers suffer

There is a right way and a wrong way to behave and having a hissy fit does not get you what you want. She should have learnt that years ago. Goodness I would be ashamed to behave like that. I hope there were proper consequences for her actions, assault and damage to property.

Woolworths just made Australia’s favourite desserts scoopable

They certainly don't appeal to me either but I am sure there will be plenty of takers, there always is.

Behind breakfast scenes: Why TV host's return has Channel 9 in crisis mode

I think the tv channels tactics are rude for starters. I don't watch tv before midday then it's a taped show while eating my lunch. But the disparity between Karl and Sarah's pay sucks for starters. Karl, well I have never seen the value of him in the odd time I have glimpsed him on tv and...

Factory closure reveals deeper cracks in manufacturing future

The Australian made logo is not going to be worth crap in the short term and yet it sounds like something can be done about it if they stop exporting the majority of our gas and leave some here for us and industry so it is cheaper. It would surely be a fairly easy fix and one wonders why the...

Melbourne's long-awaited Metro Tunnel to open in December, premier says

All state and federal governments have only their own agenda's and unfortunately the Australian people definitely do not come first. That has been evident for many many years now.

The alarming rise in elder abuse: Are vulnerable Aussies under attack in their own homes?

The deterrent would have been seizing the property as it was a asset from crime. She would have losf everything from it which she deserved, the property sold and the original owner reimbursed for what he was ripped off and the balance go to wherever profits of crime goes to. And there needs to...

They faced a 200% rent hike—so they sold everything and lived HERE instead

And I bet mooring costs go up once demand hits. Always the way, greed comes into play.

New retail trend challenges how shoppers value simple browsing

It seems a bit off but I guess it is a sign of the times and with stealing being so rife something has to be done. Will be interesting to hear how the scheme is working.

No driveway? This simple fix could let you charge your car at home anyway

I have never looked into getting one of these vehicles as I can't afford one, but I have heard the batteries do not last that long. Not sure how long is. But where are all these batteries going to go when they are dead as there will surely be a significant number in one hit from the original...

Melbourne's long-awaited Metro Tunnel to open in December, premier says

We have had alot of work done here on the metrowork in WA but never had a staged opening. When it opens it is good to go all day at full capacity so that sounds very strange to me. And it is at peak times you want it operating to get traffic off the roads and people to work. Bizarre.

They faced a 200% rent hike—so they sold everything and lived HERE instead

Not something I would have ever considered but sounds like it is working for them and if there is a community of similar residents there, then clearly they are not alone. The housing and rental market is not going to improve anytime soon. None of the governments have a handle on it at all.

Growing crisis puts postal workers' safety in spotlight

That's very kind of him or her. There are definitely people around who go above and beyond and give you hope in what can sometimes be a rotten selfish world. We need more people like that across the board.

Growing crisis puts postal workers' safety in spotlight

They are highly visible and we use our eyes the most on the road and the posties in my area certainly aren't speeding around. They drive very conservatively so in my opinion they are certainly doing the right thing. Some areas are clearly different.
