For quite some I had gotten away without having to put money into a parking meter (in the main streets of Ballarat). Then the Council came up an idea that you put your registration details into the newer meter - this I too ignored. But NOW, there is a sensor on the road as the vehicle enters...

I subscribe to various platforms as well. Also am a regular participant in Focus Groups, which can pay handsomely depending on the subject topic and duration of the activity .... 😉

So is ours at the local Vinnies shop. By the way, cameras pointed in that direction..... :(

I also wear one of these pads wrapped around the seatbelt; especially when it is hot ....far better than pulling the seat belt forward continually ...... 😉

So true ..... I visited my regional Centrelink office; brilliant service, sympathetic (and patient) listener. Went to a different regional office; couldn't wait to get me out the door fast enough (with minimal 'assistance'). Certainly is worth a try ....
