I only use cash ...... never ever used a mobile phone and the old debit card?, twice in the last 12 months (only due to lack of physical funds at the time).

Perhaps another point to consider (not strictly fuel related), dealerships do not want EVs as a trade in ..... clearly a 'throw away' vehicle after 10 years .....
