That was totally wrong. You get the product for free. Next time stand your ground and ask to see a manager. When they bring the digital tickets this won't happen. I have received toilet paper, leg ham and other tings over the years.

I have used generators, no big deal for supermarkets to have a reasonable size one for their freezers. No power so the stores don't need to open for the public, and the costs are tax deductable anyway. Floods are a different matter, all the food is contaminated anyway.
