I've got a rather radical idea that would ease the tax burden of EVERY Australian. Make the big corporations, wealthy millionaires and tax cheats pay their full dues and stop giving tax concessions to foreign entities.

Who amongst us looks as good or better than we did in our 20s, 30s or 40s? Life seems to get in the way and take it's toll despite our best efforts. Without some outside help, including a very sharp scalpel we're all on a slippery slope, it's just the steepness of it that varies. :confused:

Thank you for your kind words. Although I too am trying to limit my online presence I always read the SDC newsletters to try and stay in touch and connected to the wider community. Some of the comments I read are interesting to say the least! I try not to go down too many of the rabbit holes...

That is true but the money you get for sending electricity back to the grid more than covers it.

I have just applied and been successful. I now have to pay The Good Guys invoice and within a couple of weeks I should get a shiny new washing machine. Woohoo!!! The process is ridiculously easy.

True, but seeing as we all don't get sick every time we use a bathroom or make or receive a call I'd say we're doing ok.
