As far as I know there isn't any assistance with the cost of replacement glasses but an eye test is covered by Medicare, I'm sure that Specsavers would be all across any help available. After ten years I wouldn't be looking to get your glasses repaired, almost certainly your prescription needs...

The life benefits include not having to worry about doing any maintenance or gardening (unless you want to). Not having to pay for repairs. Having a community of like minded people around, social activities included should you want to join in and help available should you need it. :)
