Aussies called out for ‘gross’ weekend habit—are you guilty of it?

Don’t rely on the Council to attempt to tackle the rubbish situation. They’re useless. It’s up to individuals, but with so many migrants/immigrants from certain countries that are ignorant to the ways of Australia, it’ll only get worse. Getting off course a bit, but I’ve seen the same thing...

Political career collapses after MP found guilty of stealing funds meant for vulnerable students

If you look at @Veggiepatch’s reply, you and anyone else who reads it can easily see his reply was to @Geoff Barrett because Geoff asked you, @Free.lander, if you are a “free lander or free loader”. So @Free.lander, you’ve shown yourself to be the moron for insulting someone for no reason.

The wait is over: Myer’s hottest item is back! Will you snag one before it’s sold out again?

I did. Apparently the “paint” used for decorating the Corelle had a level (not specified) of lead. I’ve attached a link for more interesting reading regarding vintage dinner plates etc. According to the linked article, 1 in 3 vintage dinnerware, not just Corelle, had dangerous levels of toxins...

The wait is over: Myer’s hottest item is back! Will you snag one before it’s sold out again?

I’ve never had any problems with any Corelle products and have been using them since the 1970’s. They’ve been in the microwave and dishwasher many times. IF there is lead content in the manufacture of these dishes pre-2005, it must be minimal. I used them on mostly a daily basis for myself...

The wait is over: Myer’s hottest item is back! Will you snag one before it’s sold out again?

I’ve been using these since the 70’s. I’ve moved around a lot over the years and they are less bulky and lighter (and stronger), so I’ve continued using that brand. They take up less room in my small kitchen too! They’ve changed designs over the years too. This is the first pattern I had…

I use the Corelle dinnerware. They are thin and light but strong.

Barking danger: Why seniors are bearing the brunt of Australia’s dog attack surge

Councils are useless. No point in contacting them. All talk, no action.

Remember the old red Australia Post vans? Electric ones are taking over

Let’s hope the EV doesn’t catch fire with our mail and packages. At least the driver would have a chance to get out. I don’t trust electric vehicles.

Should we start fining phone users on footpaths? This mayor says yes!

“It's time for a "keep left" crackdown. The city's 'stick to the left' rule dates back to 1925…” That would be great if we all followed that on footpaths!
