Massive Gmail breach exposes 2.5 billion accounts—check if yours is at risk

I’ve done this a few times, complained about my bad dose of flu or severe migraine and they’ve felt so sorry for me that they decided to not bother me anymore.

Thought IKEA was designed to trap customers? They're finally setting the record straight

I love IKEA but only get to visit one when we’re in Perth. I used to know the shortcuts to where I wanted to go but it’s a few years since I last went that I probably won’t remember. I only ever buy what I went in for, but I find it exhausting trying to find the checkouts. It’s good exercise...

When having to go means facing $25,000 legal fight: Tiny house battle could change housing rules

I think that it’s time Councils updated their laws to make it easier for people to live in tiny houses. Surely it’s much better than having people sleeping in the streets, or in tents. I can’t understand why more is not being done to help people, who are trying to help themselves. As long as...

Unusual security step promises stronger protection for savings

It’s very unlikely to ever affect me, as I’m not likely to open another bank account. I assume that would be the situation for most of us, so no use worrying about it.

What has been the most fun or surprising part of your 2025 so far?

I do hope that your husband continues stay well. My husband, who has skin cancer problems which led to him losing his right eye, says being positive is the key to survival. It takes a toll on us poor wives looking after them & worrying about what’s to come. I’m fairly positive and refuse to...

What has been the most fun or surprising part of your 2025 so far?

Lovely to hear your news Sethia, I do hope that your health is improving, it’s so important to take care of oneself. What’s the best thing under $100 you’ve ever bought? Aussies have surprising answers

I’ve got one too, but it’s called Ted. Well, I suppose it’s really his, but its unlikely to be ever called Pat’s!

What’s the best thing under $100 you’ve ever bought? Aussies have surprising answers

An insulated drink bottle with a straw which is attached to a pop up spout. My water stays cool & because the spout flips up for use, it’s always clean & protected, and it’s pink! I simply love it.

‘She deserved better’: Viewers react to Lynne McGranger’s last moments on Home and Away

I have never watched Home and Away but interesting in your comments on the ending, especially after reading that “Irene” had Alzheimers and was going off to travel the world alone. Totally bizarre, one of my neighbours has alzheimers & can’t walk out of the front gate on her own, let alone get...

No knock, no parcel: Aussie’s note to postie strikes a nerve

I had trouble with Couriers Please in Perth. My son’s house is on a block with 3 others, so his address is 3/5, so couriers please delivered to 35, unsuccessfully thank goodness. I called them & explained, so they attempted a second delivery to number 35. By now I was furious so complained...
