I don't see how anyone can 'own' land that is used for all Australians. Our beaches are free unlike Europe who charge to go on their beaches. You can own a block of land yes. Not land that's meant for all Aussies. Julie

No it hasn't happened to me. It seems pretty clear that both people the driver and the horserider should have been cautious. Certainly the driver should have given the horse a wide berth, and maybe slowed down if he wasn't already. Julie
